Review: The Croods

El otro dia, cuando baje a desayunar, me encontre a la jefa mirando en el ordenador para comprar unos billetes de cine, para ir a ver Los Croods y  me pregunto si queria ir con los niños (obviamente si yo no voy no van los crios) Como buena fan de Dreamworks no dude en aceptar.

The last day when i went downstairs for breakfast, I just found my boss buying some cinema tickets to go and see The Croods with the kids, she asked me if i wanted  to go (of course, if i don't go, the children don't go as well). As a good Dreamwork fan, I accepted with no doubt.

La historia es basicamente sobre como una de las ultimas familias de Neandertales, conocen al Homo Sapiens, una persona menos fuerte y robusto que ellos, pero con algo nuevo que los dejara asombrados... ¡Ideas! El intelecto del nuevo muchacho es sin duda lo que hace que los Crood, la familia, consiga sobrevivir a un mundo que esta cambiando bajo sus pies, en el que su cueva ya no es segura.
The story is basically about how one of the last Neandertals families meet the Homo Sapiens, a person less strong and smaller than them, but with something completely new that will surprise them... Ideas! And it's because the intelligence of this young boy is what makes the Crood survive in a world that is changing under their feet, where his beloved cave is not safe anymore. 

El diseño de personajes, me ha parecido bueno, resaltan bien los rasgos que diferencian a las dos especies, lo cual es casi una de las cosas que mas me ha gustado. Digo casi, por que lo mejor son todos los efectos graficos, con esto me refiero a las texturas de las cosas, las rocas, el agua, las plantas, los animales, todo se ve muy realista dentro de ser una pelicula de animacion y ademas de caracter infantil, pero, si quitamos que los animales son de lo mas irrealistas, sus texturas y pelajes son increibles. Me ha gustado mucho notar esa gran mejora en Dreamworks en comparacion quiza con otras de sus peliculas.
I think that the characters' desing is quite good, I like that they made clear the phisical differences between the two human kinds, which is one of the things i liked nearly the most. Nearly, because the thing i liked the most were the grafic effects. What I mean with this is the texture of the things like rocks, water, plants, animals, everything looks very real for a animation movie, if we don't have in mind that the animals are so unrealistic, still with a very cool fur. I really like to see how Dreamworks keeps on improving on every new work they do. 

¿Mi opinion personal? La recomiendo completamente. Es una pelicula muy divertida, y la historia es muy facil de seguir, ademas de bastante bonita. Me gusta ver como todos los personajes evolucionan a lo largo de la pelicula, sobretodo los Croods, que parecen tomar comportamientos del extraño muchacho del cual desconfiaban en un principio. En un principio no me atraia mucho, pense "Dreamworks me va a decepcionar con esta peli..." ¡Pero para nada! A diferencia de Disney/Pixar que si lo ha hecho, este trabajo sigue siendo tan buena como todas las demas peliculas de este estudio, y me muero de ganas de ver su siguiente obra.
 My personal opinion? I completely recomend it. It's very funny, and the story is easy to follow, and very beautiful i think. I like to see how all the characters evolve during the movie, specially the Croods, who start getting behaviours from his weird new companion who they didn't truts at first. I really didn't feel like seeing it before, i thougt "Dreamworks is going to deceive me this time..." But no! Unlike Disney/Pixar which did deceived me, this movie keeps been a good one like all the other ones made by this studio, i really look forward to see their next creation.
